The variety is a spontaneous bud mutation of the Esbal variety. The plant is a compact, vigorous tree reaching a height of 2 to 4 meters, with elongated dark green leaves. The variety is self-fertile and capable of withstanding short-term frosts down to -10°C in protected conditions.
The fruits are predominantly spherical, slightly flattened in shape, with an average diameter of about 70 mm and a weight of about 100 g. The variety is characterized by high juiciness with a juice yield of 47% to 55% and a harmonious sweet taste. The crop ripens in the period from November to January; in the absence of frosts below -4°C, the fruits maintain their quality on the tree until February.
The variety has high productivity, with a potential yield reaching 16 tons per hectare. The produce is intended for direct fresh consumption, as well as for the production of beverages and processed products.
