The variety is a sanitized form of the Clementine "Comune", obtained as a result of breeding work in 1986. The labeling in the name indicates that the planting material has undergone a certification and sanitation process.

The plant is distinguished by vigorous growth, an upright branching habit, and a complete absence of thorns. The variety is mid-season; the fruit harvesting period falls between the end of October and the beginning of December.
