Variety description

The medium-sized tree has a dense and compact crown, which allows for cultivation in containers and small gardens. The leaves are dark green, lanceolate, and narrow. The variety is early-maturing, with the harvest usually occurring in October–November.

The fruits are round or slightly flattened in shape, with a mass of about 60–80 g and a diameter of 4–6 cm. The peel is smooth, shiny, and dark orange. The flesh is bright orange, juicy, and has a distinct sweet taste. When grown on a trifoliata rootstock, the variety shows sensitivity to a number of viroid infections.

The plant is widely used as a commercial crop for fresh consumption and culinary processing, and it is also valued in ornamental gardening for decorating greenhouses and terraces. Under the general name, there are many clones and selections, the characteristics of which may vary.
