The MONREAL tree has medium vigor, a rounded crown, and dense foliage with lanceolate leaves. The fruits are of medium size, spherical in shape with flattened poles, and have an orange peel.

The main difference of the variety lies in its ability to self-pollinate, which is why the fruits always contain seeds. The variety is early, with ripening starting in early October. The fruits are on average larger than seedless clementines and are distinguished by a pronounced sweetness.

MONREAL is considered a productive and reliable variety in production, adapted to Mediterranean conditions. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption, and the variety itself is used in breeding work to develop hybrids.
