The variety is the result of an induced mutation obtained by irradiating buds of the 'Clemenules' variety. The tree is characterized by an open habit, good vegetative growth, and the absence of thorns. The harvest period occurs from January 1 to February 20.
The fruits are oblate in shape, with a weight of 90–100 g and a diameter of 55–60 mm. The smooth rind, 1.5–2.0 mm thick, has an intense orange color. The flesh is juicy, with a good balance of sugar and acidity. The variety shows resistance to rind puffing, watery spots, and pitting.
The variety is parthenocarpic and self-incompatible; therefore, the fruits are practically seedless in the absence of cross-pollination. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and possesses good keeping quality when stored in refrigeration units.
