The tree is characterized by low vigor, has dense foliage and narrow dark green leaves with a tendency for the edges to curl. The crown reaches a diameter of 2.5 to 3.25 m, and the plant has no thorns.
Fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, and slightly flattened at the poles. The rind is bright orange, sometimes with a reddish hue, relatively smooth and easy to peel. The pulp is orange, juicy, with a balance of sugars and acids.
The variety is classified as super-early; internal maturity occurs earlier than that of the parent variety Orovales. Harvesting falls in the period from mid-September to early October. Flowers are parthenocarpic, and fruits are usually seedless in the absence of cross-pollination.
Fruits possess high transportability and good keeping quality. Vigorous rootstocks, such as Macrophylla or Volkameriana, are recommended for cultivation, and protection of the trunk from direct sunlight is required during the first years of life.
