The variety is a spontaneous bud mutation of the Fina clementine. The tree has a compact, medium-dense crown and dark green lanceolate leaves; in the early stages of growth, the shoots can be thorny. The variety enters bearing early and is self-pollinating, although cross-pollination may lead to the appearance of seeds.

The fruits have a spherical, slightly flattened shape, with a diameter of 5.5–7 cm and a weight of 30–90 g. The dark orange fragrant peel separates easily from the juicy, sweet and sour pulp. The variety is prone to a physiological disorder called puffing — detachment of the peel, which occurs at high humidity and temperature.
