The variety is a vigorous tree with a dense, compact crown and short branches; small thorns may be present on the shoots. The sturdy structure of the branches does not usually require the use of supports. The ripening period is very early; the harvest in Spain takes place from late September to October.

The fruits are spherical in shape, with a diameter of 5.5 to 7 cm and a weight of 70–130 g. The thin orange peel contains many essential oils and is easily separated. The pulp is characterized by its juiciness and sweet taste with a slight acidity. The variety is predominantly seedless, although a small number of seeds may appear during cross-pollination.

The plant is susceptible to the risk of water spotting and fruit puffiness if left on the tree for too long due to the fragility of the peel. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is also suitable for growing in containers and indoors.
