The variety was identified during the SRA breeding program and became the basis for establishing modern commercial clementine plantations. In agronomic practice, the variety is propagated primarily by grafting onto rootstocks such as Poncirus trifoliata or Troyer citrange.

The fruits possess the carotenoid profile characteristic of clementines, specifically containing violaxanthin in the peel. The variety is distinguished by good organoleptic qualities and ease of peeling. The clone is actively used in laboratory studies on plant regeneration via direct organogenesis from cotyledons.
