The variety is a hybrid of mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco), obtained within the framework of a breeding program for creating new citrus varieties. It belongs to the category of late-maturing triploid mandarins.

Studies of the fruit juice composition confirm their high nutritional value. The content of antioxidants, such as eriocitrin and neoeriocitrin, in the fruits of this variety is higher than in a number of other compared hybrids.
