The plant is a compact shrub or small tree with straight thorns and trifoliate leaves with blunt-serrated edges. Annual branches are glabrous; second- to third-year branches are striped. It blooms with small flowers. The rounded fruits have a leathery, rough rind of yellow or red-orange color and acidic pulp.

The variety has moderate vigor and high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -20...-25°C. It exhibits resistance to Citrus tristeza virus and root rots, particularly Phytophthora parasitica. As a rootstock, it promotes the formation of compact and productive trees.
