ActiveCitrus unshiu Marcow. · Satsuma mandarin
Combrink Nicola Kim
10 August 2026
The variety is a spontaneous bud mutation of the Owari variety. The tree has moderate vigor and a compact, dense, thornless canopy, which allows it to be used as a dwarf variety.
The fruit is early-maturing, seedless or practically seedless. It has a sweet taste with low acidity, a smooth rind, and a specific pulp structure that creates a firm fiber effect. The plant possesses high cold tolerance, characteristic of the Citrus unshiu group.
