The variety is a mutation of the Matsuyama variety, discovered in Japan. It belongs to the group of very early maturing Satsuma mandarins, Goko Wase. The plant is characterized by a compact, dwarf growth habit with a dense, branched crown, reaching a height of up to 160 cm when grown in containers.
Fruits are medium-sized, slightly flattened, with a thin dark orange peel that peels easily. The flesh is juicy, aromatic, and sweet, containing a minimal amount of acid or distinguished by a slight tartness. The variety is seedless and possesses relative cold hardiness, adapting well to container cultivation conditions.
