The variety originated as a spontaneous bud mutation on a Marsh variety tree. The tree is vigorous, with a dense crown and dark green lanceolate leaves; in container cultivation, the height is usually limited to 2 meters. The fruits are of medium size, have a round or slightly flattened shape and smooth thin skin of pale yellow color.

The pulp is juicy, light pink or light orange, with pigmentation that may fade if the fruits remain on the branches for a long time. The variety is considered seedless, although single seeds may occur. The fruits ripen in the period from November to May, have good keeping quality, transportability, and resistance to fungal diseases.
