Variety description

10 August 2026

The Shambar (SRA 22) variety is officially recognized and included in state citrus registers. The SRA index indicates its origin from a French research station engaged in the selection and sanitation of clones.

The application of regulated deficit irrigation strategies contributes to an increase in the concentration of soluble solids, citric acid, vitamin C, and phenolic compounds in the fruits. The variety is used both for obtaining commercial yields and as reference material in breeding research.
