Fruits of the Sfusato Amalfitano lemon variety have a characteristic elongated elliptical shape. The peel is of medium thickness, light yellow in color, and has a high concentration of essential oils. The pulp is distinguished by its juiciness, moderate acidity, and a small number of seeds, ranging from 4 to 10. The average fruit weight varies from 100 to 120 grams.

The variety is characterized by an extended harvesting period, which peaks from March to July. The plant is susceptible to the fungal disease Mal secco. In traditional cultivation, trees are grown on terraces under shelters made of chestnut poles, which provides protection from adverse weather conditions. The fruits are widely used in cooking and for the production of Limoncello liqueur.
