C-32 (C-32 citrange) is used as a rootstock for grafting oranges, lemons, and other citrus fruits. One of the features of this rootstock is an extremely low number of seeds in the fruits, which complicates its propagation by seeds.

Trees grown on this rootstock possess significant vigor and ensure good yields. The quality indicators of fruits from scions on C-32 are comparable to the characteristics on other popular rootstocks, such as Troyer.

The rootstock shows tolerance to Citrus tristeza virus, resistance to Phytophthora (Phytophthora spp.), and citrus nematode. It is genetically close to the C-35 hybrid, however, it may differ from it in scion growth intensity and resistance to specific pathogens.
