The variety is a descendant of the Ellendale and Murcott tangors. The trees are characterized by vigorous growth and an upright crown shape. The fruits have a rich sweet taste with a tropical aroma, dark-orange flesh, and a thin peel that is easy to peel. In solid plantings, the number of seeds in the fruits is minimal.

The plant tolerates long-term storage well, including cold sterilization. The variety shows moderate susceptibility to Alternaria, but is less prone to it than the Nova variety. Without the use of specific crop management methods, alternate bearing is possible.
