The variety is low-growing and suitable for cultivation in containers, on patios, for landscaping small gardens and low fences, and can also be used as a cut flower crop. The height of an adult plant is usually 1 to 1.5 meters.

The dark red flowers can be single, semi-double, or double, reaching 10–15 cm in diameter, with petals having a slightly wavy edge. Single flowers are more common on young plants, whereas mature specimens are prone to forming double and semi-double shapes.

The variety belongs to pruning group 2. Flowering occurs profusely from late spring to mid-summer, and then repeats in autumn. The plant is characterized by good winter hardiness, corresponding to zones 4–10.
