The plant belongs to the genus Clematis and is included in the Festoon® collection. The deciduous climbing vine reaches a height of 2–3 meters; depending on growing conditions, this figure can vary up to 3–5 meters.

Flowering occurs on the current year's shoots; the flowering period lasts from June to September. The flowers have a diameter of 5–7 cm, their color varies from deep purple-violet to lavender-violet, and the center is decorated with contrasting yellow anthers on light filaments.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3. It is characterized by winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9 and is suitable for vertical landscaping, use on trellises and pergolas, as well as for commercial greenhouse cultivation.
