The variety belongs to pruning group 2. The flowers have a contrasting "crown" of cream-coffee or yellow stamens and are often upward-facing. The plant is characterized by abundant and prolonged flowering: the first flush occurs in late spring or early summer, after which repeat flowering is possible until early autumn.

The plant has high disease resistance and winter hardiness corresponding to zones 4–9. The intensity of the bright red color of the petals may vary depending on light conditions.
