Deciduous climbing liana reaching a height of 2.2–3.2 m. Flowers are semi-double, nodding, bell-shaped, 5–8 cm in diameter. Sepals are cherry-red with a bluish tint, stamens are bright yellow. Foliage is green, small in size.

The variety belongs to the first pruning group, flowering on the previous year's shoots. The main flowering period falls in April–May, with possible repeat flowering in August. The plant is frost-hardy, withstands temperatures down to -28°C…-40°C, and is resistant to diseases. After flowering, it forms fluffy seed heads.
