The plant reaches a height of about 2 meters. Large flowers with a diameter of 12 to 18 cm have a distinctive structure: the outer sepals are longer, and they become shorter towards the center, which gives the flower a resemblance to a peony. During the first flush of flowering, the flowers are often double, while in the second they are predominantly single. The color is pearl-pink with a darker deep-pink blush along the edges of the petals and along the central bar; the stamens have yellow anthers on light filaments.

Flowering occurs in two waves: from the end of May to July on the previous year's shoots and in August-September on the current year's shoots. The variety belongs to the 2nd pruning group. The plant is characterized by frost resistance (USDA zones 4–9) and high disease resistance. The clematis attaches to supports using its leaf petioles, however, due to the specifics of its origin, it sometimes requires additional fixation.
