The variety is a hybrid (Clematis hybr.) created at the Roogoja nursery in Estonia. The main goal of the breeding program was to obtain compact plants capable of abundant flowering on current-year shoots.

The plant has very large flowers. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, which allows it to be grown in northern regions. Due to its rarity, the variety is found primarily in specialized catalogs and collectors' reports.
