The plant is a climber that attaches to supports with leaf tendrils. Shoots of young plants have a purple hue, becoming brown with age. Foliage is matte, green, sometimes with a purple margin on young leaves. Flowers consist of 4–6 pointed diamond-shaped sepals with a velvety surface, purple-violet anthers on cream-green filaments, and a characteristic pink stripe along the center of the petals.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3. In the first year, pruning at a height of 20 cm from the ground is recommended; in subsequent seasons, at 40–50 cm. Abundant flowering occurs in the period from mid-June to early August, with weaker flowering continuing until September-October. The plant prefers sunny locations and fertile, moderately moist soils, while being resistant to diseases.

The variety is intended for vertical gardening: growing against walls, fences, gazebos, and other garden supports. It is also suitable for planting in combination with coniferous and deciduous trees or shrubs.
