The variety FLOCLEMI (Miranda) is an herbaceous perennial that is not capable of self-climbing and has a sprawling growth habit. The height of the shoots varies from 1.0 to 1.8 meters. For vertical placement, the plant requires tying to supports; it can also be used as a groundcover or for cultivation in containers.

The flowers, 6–13 cm in diameter, consist of 4–6 oblong, pointed petals of a dark purple color, which may lighten over time to mauve-blue shades. The stamens have a dark, beetroot-like color. Flowering continues from late spring to early autumn.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3, as it regenerates annually from the rhizome. The plant is frost-hardy (zones 4–9) and is distinguished by its low maintenance.
