Variety description

Clematis 'Anna Louise' ('Evithree') produces large star-shaped flowers 12–17 cm in diameter. The sepal color is violet-blue with a bright crimson or red-purple central stripe, complemented by a contrasting crown of stamens.

The height of the mature vine is 2.0–3.0 meters. The variety belongs to the repeat-flowering group: the first wave occurs in May–June, and the second in late summer or early autumn. Pruning type 2 is recommended.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -23.5…-25°C. Due to its compact habit, the variety is suitable for cultivation in containers, on terraces, patios, and in small-sized gardens.
