Variety description

The variety belongs to the Florida group (Clematis florida). The plant is a vine 2 to 3 meters in height with dark green opposite foliage, which may exhibit semi-evergreen properties in a mild climate.

The flowers are single, flat, 12–17 cm in diameter, creamy-white in color with a pinkish-lavender margin along the edge of the sepals and red-purple anthers. The reverse side of the sepals has a more saturated shade.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3, blooming on current-year shoots. The plant withstands frosts down to -20...-30 °C (USDA zones 4–9), prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations sheltered from the wind, and well-drained soil.

Used for vertical gardening of pergolas, trellises, fences, growing in containers, or as a ground cover plant.
