The variety is a deciduous perennial vine belonging to the late-flowering large-flowered clematis group. The plant reaches a height of about 2 meters and a width of up to 1 meter, reaching maturity in 2–5 years. The foliage is dark green and pinnate.

The flowers are large, simple, and colored pale pink with a purple-pink central stripe. Flowering occurs on current-year shoots, which allows for low pruning to 15 cm in autumn. The flowering period lasts from mid-summer to mid-autumn.

The plant is suitable for cultivation in sun or partial shade and adapts to various soil types provided good drainage is ensured. The compact size allows the variety to be used in small gardens, as well as a container or patio plant.
