The plant has a compact form and reaches a height of 1.5–2.0 m. The flowers have a lavender-blue shade with a light central stripe on the sepals and yellow-cream stamens. The variety is characterized by abundant, almost continuous flowering throughout the season.
The clematis is winter hardy down to -25°C and suitable for cultivation in containers. It is propagated vegetatively. With proper pruning, which stimulates branching from the base, the plant forms a dense, abundantly flowering vine.
