The flowers of the variety are medium-sized, upward-facing, and have a purple color with a dark center. A distinctive feature of the plant is the dissected bright green foliage, which is unusual for clematis.

The plant belongs to the hard pruning group, as it blooms on current-year shoots. The flowering period occurs in late spring and summer. The variety is intended for ornamental use and cultivation on trellises or other supports.
