Variety description

The variety is a deciduous vine with large, flat flowers 15–20 cm in diameter, facing upward or sideways. The petal color is purple with a lighter stripe down the center. Each flower consists of 8 oblong, pointed petals that overlap at the base and are slightly reflexed at the tips. The initially yellow stamens acquire a light cream, almost white hue as they mature.

The plant belongs to the late-flowering large-flowered clematis group and is part of the GIGA® series, characterized by very large flower sizes. The variety is intended for ornamental gardening and requires the use of a support for vertical landscaping.
