The clematis variety WER01, known by the trade name Twinkle Bell, is an evergreen vine. The plant has simple leaves, some of which have distinct blunt lobes.

The flowers of the variety are nodding, located on long pedicels, have a deep yellow color, and consist of four sepals. The flowering period occurs in September.
