Variety description

The plant is an evergreen ornamental shrub with a stiff, upright growth habit. The height of the bush is usually about 1.2–1.5 meters with a width of about 0.5 meters.

The main feature of the variety is the rich chocolate-brown foliage, which acquires a darker, coffee-like shade during the winter period. The shrub tolerates full sun and pruning well.

The variety is used in gardening for creating hedges and borders, grown in containers, and is also applied in bonsai culture.
