Variety description

The shrub has an upright, densely branched form and reaches 80–150 cm in height and width. The leaves are small, ovate, with a characteristic mirror-like gloss. In spring and summer, they are colored green with yellow-orange or red edges, and in the cold period, they acquire intense pink, red, and purple shades. The flowers of the plant are small and have no ornamental value.

The plant is heat-loving and tolerates frosts down to -5...-6°C; in regions with a cold climate, it is grown as a container plant. The variety is resistant to wind and salt spray, which makes it suitable for coastal areas. It prefers well-drained soils, sunny locations or light partial shade, and is sensitive to waterlogging.
