The plant reaches 1–1.5 meters in height and width, although under certain conditions it may remain more compact. It has small, non-ornamental flowers. The glossy leaves make the variety sought after for landscaping.

The variety is intended for creating hedges, mixed borders, and container cultivation. It is resistant to coastal conditions, wind, and salt spray, and shows moderate drought tolerance. It grows well in drained soils in sun or partial shade and requires light pruning to maintain crown density.
