Variety description

The shrub has a compact, upright or rounded crown, reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The oval-shaped leaves possess a pronounced sheen and acquire orange or reddish tones in the autumn-winter period. Small, inconspicuous flowers appear in spring, and the presence of a pollinator can lead to the appearance of red berries in autumn.

The plant is moderately winter hardy and is recommended for container cultivation in regions with cold climates. Due to its high resistance to salty sea winds, the variety is suitable for coastal gardens, as well as for creating hedges and borders. When branches are pruned, the plant may emit an unpleasant odor.
