Variety description

The variety is a compact dense shrub, reaching 1.5 m in height and width. It has glossy ovate leaves, the color of which varies from reddish-purple with a bright margin in the summer period to deep dark red or burgundy shades in winter.

The plant is characterized by drought tolerance and hardiness, capable of withstanding coastal conditions with salt winds and light frosts. It grows well in sun or partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. It is used in landscape design for creating hedges, borders, and for growing in containers.
