The plant reaches 4.5–6 meters in height and 3–4.5 meters in width, having a broad-upright crown shape. The leaves are green upon emerging, with white and pink spotting appearing on young shoots from July, persisting until leaf fall.
Flowering occurs in May–June with large white star-shaped flowers. Bright red fruits ripen in August, remaining on the branches until autumn or winter.
The variety grows vigorously, is disease-resistant, and tolerates sunlight better than other Cornus species. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–8. It prefers moist, well-drained soils rich in organic matter and requires minimal pruning.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
