The variety Cappuccino is a deciduous shrub or small tree, reaching a height of 4–6 meters and having a conical crown shape. Young leaves are green, changing to a copper-bronze hue, and in autumn the foliage turns a bright red color.
Flowering occurs from the end of May to June. The flowers are surrounded by four creamy-white bracts, which can acquire a pinkish tint over time. The plant's fruits are pink-red, raspberry-like, and edible.
The variety has medium winter hardiness (zone 6a). The plant prefers fertile, humus-rich, acidic to neutral soils; it does not tolerate waterlogging or calcareous soils. It is used in ornamental gardening as a specimen plant.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
