Variety description

The variety is a small tree or large shrub 6–8 meters tall with a well-branched crown. Leaves are ovate, dark green with a purple hue when budding, turning red-orange in autumn. The tree bark is exfoliating and mottled.
Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of large dark pink or fuchsia bracts and lasts 6–8 weeks. In late summer, edible reddish-pink fruits are formed. The plant prefers sunny or partially shaded locations and well-drained, organic-rich soils.
The crop possesses high resistance to diseases, including anthracnose, as well as to temperature fluctuations. The variety is undemanding in care and does not require frequent pruning, making it suitable for use as a specimen plant or in group plantings.
