Variety description

10 August 2026

A perennial herbaceous plant forming dense compact clumps. Narrow rigid leaves are colored green with a pronounced golden-yellow tint or margin. Dense silky panicles of cream-white or silvery-white color reach from 30 to 60 cm in length.

The plant blooms from August to November. The variety prefers sunny sites with fertile, well-drained soils. The hardiness zone is Z7–Z8, therefore in cold regions, covering or cultivation in containers with moving into frost-free rooms for the winter is required.

The plant is used as an ornamental solitary plant, an element of mixed borders, or for landscaping the banks of water bodies. The inflorescences of the variety are suitable for use in cut arrangements and as dried flowers.
