The bush is vigorous with an upright crown. The nuts are characterized by a hard shell and a tight-fitting husk, which makes them difficult to separate during harvesting.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators such as Tonda Gentile Romana, Tonda di Giffoni, or Cosford. The harvest ripens in late August — early September; the primary use is for fresh consumption.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
