The butternut type hybrid Scarlet F1 is characterized by a maturity period of 100 to 110 days. Fruit weight varies within 1.3–1.8 kg. Fruits have a pear shape with a small seed cavity.
The flesh is yellow-orange in color, the sugar content is 12–13%. The hybrid is intended for the fresh market, processing, and long-term storage for up to 6–7 months. The plant possesses high tolerance to powdery mildew and a number of viruses (PRSV, ZYMV).
