The variety belongs to the intergeneric hybrid of Cupressus macrocarpa and Cupressus nootkatensis. The original specimen was identified at the Fota Arboretum in Ireland, where it was initially listed under the name Pendula.

The plant has silvery-gray needles and is characterized by a weeping crown shape. A specific feature of the clone is the regular and abundant formation of male cones. The variety is intended exclusively for decorative purposes and is not used in industrial forestry.
