The variety has a slender conical or columnar crown. An adult plant can reach 10–12 meters in height with a width of 1,5–2 meters at a young age. Annual growth is from 15–20 to 25 cm. The skeleton is formed by strong, horizontally growing branches.
The scale-like needles retain a golden-yellow hue throughout the year, taking on a lime-green color only in the shade. The variety is resistant to direct sunlight, winter-hardy, and undemanding regarding soils, although it is at risk of cypress canker or fungal infections under stress.
The crop is in demand for solitary plantings, container cultivation, and the creation of dense hedges and protective screens.
