Variety description

The variety is a tree with a narrow columnar or conical crown shape. The scale-like needles have a dark green color with creamy-white patches occupying about 20% of the volume. The plant is characterized by rapid growth, which in its youth ranges from 0.5 to 1 meter per year, and at maturity, it reaches a height of 10–20 meters with a width of 4–7 meters.

The plant is used to create hedges, windbreaks, or as a specimen plant. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zone 7), resistant to urban conditions and wind, however, it can suffer from snow load. Due to its high growth rate, it requires regular pruning to control size and maintain crown density.

The variety is sterile and propagates exclusively vegetatively by cuttings. It originates from a mutation of the 'Leighton Green' cultivar.
