The variety is a clone of the Hungarian variety Bereczki, selected in the 1980s. Unlike the parent form, it has a different position of the stigma relative to the anthers (higher) and demonstrates better resistance to fire blight, although it remains susceptible to this disease.
The plant is recommended to be grown using 'late vase' or 'simple palmette' training, which contributes to increased yields and fruit quality indicators. Micropropagation protocols in vitro have been developed for the variety.
