The variety is a vigorous tree or large shrub with a wide crown, reaching 5 meters in height. Flowering begins in May with light-pink cup-shaped flowers; the tree is a good honey plant. The variety is characterized by its resilience and good winter hardiness.
The apple-shaped fruits ripen by mid-October and have a golden-yellow pubescent skin. The flesh ranges from white to light yellow, is of medium density, and is distinguished by a spicy muscat flavor. Due to their hardness and astringency, the fruits are primarily intended for the production of jams, jellies, marmalades, and juices.
The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, protected from the wind, with fertile, permeable soil. In the first years after planting, the tree requires regular watering.
