BA 29
ActiveCydonia Mill. · Quince
10 August 2026
The BA-29 rootstock is vegetatively propagated and is used primarily for pear grafting. Trees grafted on this rootstock demonstrate high yield. In terms of growth vigor, this rootstock exceeds the classic quince MA rootstock.
An important agronomic feature of BA-29 is its high resistance to soils with a high lime content. Professional literature notes that this rootstock is virus-free.
